What are you reading or listening to today?
Anne Rice – The Wolves of Midwinter

What’s the best part of your work day?
In the early morning; productivity is best before opening hours!

What are you most excited about right now (library-related or otherwise)?
The “great conjunction,” happening in my life right now is my appointment as Chief Librarian at Bronx Community College – CUNY (April 1, 2014). Being able to pursue leadership in my profession is both challenging and exciting and I’m excited about the positive change our group is bringing to BCC Library and to the diverse student body here on campus.

How has your membership in CLS helped you?
CLS, ACRL & ALA participation always translate into “learning,” for me. I know I have peers who can help no matter what my questions are! I enjoyed seeing and meeting more folks at the Medium-sized Academic Libraries Discussion Group meeting in Las Vegas!
