What are you reading or listening to today?
Times Unfading Garden: Anne Spencer’s Life and Poetry by J. Lee Greene as research material for a forthcoming book on women in West Virginia.
What’s the best part of your work day?
Introducing students to primary sources with rare books. I never tire of seeing that moment when a student’s eyes light up when they handle a rare book for the first time!
What are you most excited about right now (library-related or otherwise)?
Seeing WV’s historic newspapers available on the Library of Congress Chronicling America website through the WVU Libraries NEH grant.
How has your membership in CLS helped you?
Membership has provided a greater community to learn from and provided interesting professional development ideas and opportunities.
